From the Heart of Nepal
The daily practice of devotional worship permeates Nepal where the Hindu and Buddhist iconography live side-by-side in perfect harmony. The practices and rituals of each religion overlap and complement each other and everyone has the opportunity to connect to the archetypal energies that the statues, temples and stupas represent. By relating to these works of art, we become connected to the deepest parts of ourselves regardless of our cultural background.

ABOUT THE PHOTOGRAPHER - Lubosh Cech
A Czech by birth and an American by choice, Lubosh's inspiration originates in the visual traditions of Czech lyricism. Growing up in Prague gave him a strong foundation of rich artistic and cultural lineage that he draws from to this day. Cech is classically educated in studio art, photography and art history.
Escaping the communist regime of the early 1980's Czechoslovakia, Lubosh first lived in Italy as a political refugee and later moved to the United States. He worked at Harvard University Art Museums in Cambridge, Massachusetts installing and designing art exhibitions for nearly a decade.
Lubosh's desire for a deeper understanding of life led him to the practice of yoga and meditation. Leaving his job at Harvard in 1993, he pursued a full-time spiritual life. The 12 of intense Ashram studies that followed gave him a profoundly rich experience, significantly shaping my spiritual and artistic unfoldment.
