Hello, Vibrant Reader!

My long-time good friend, Paula, has a small farm nearby, and this year they had a bumper crop of heirloom pumpkins and tomatoes. So many, in fact, she insisted I help myself to as many as I wanted. The photo to the right here is what I planted around the yard after handing out a few to the neighbors. Oh, what fun!

As I was spreading the pumpkins around the yard, I thought of the adorable trick-or-treaters that will be coming around next Wednesday for Halloween--and all that sugar! I have two excellent products I use that would immediately apply to overdoses of sweet goodies: Sunshine Brite Toothpaste, and DigestZyme enzyme formula. Try a healthy Halloween...
Halloween - the favorite holiday for kids. It means dressing up, it means trick or treating, it REALLY means candy, candy and more candy! A Mom's nightmare! So, how can you make it healthy without taking the fun out of it? Actually, there are all kinds of wonderful goodies you can serve at a Halloween party and keep it on the healthier side. Why not have pizza, quesadillas, mini sandwiches and fruit kabobs? You could also have trail mixes, snack mixes and nut mixes in small bowls around your party area instead of filling them up with candy. Don't forget that you can do a lot with popcorn too.
