Hello, Vibrant Reader!
I was struck this week by the sheer mountain of information available on the Internet to solve any problem. Be it physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, or something as mundane as how to best wash your dog, there are answers and solutions everywhere. If you can formulate a question, someone at sometime has answered it based on the same or similar experience with the problem you are having. Even seemingly esoteric or arcane questions such as what kind of pogo stick did that guy use to break the Guiness World Record; or, what was the rainfall last month in Tallahassee, Florida.
The next thing that struck me was, with all these answers and solutions swirling around out there, why are so many people miserable? It just goes to show that having the answers and the solutions to problems doesn't mean the questions get answered or the problems solved.
It may be just a simple lack of faith. I've learned in yoga that determination is the bridge to inspiration. Once inspired the going is easy, but it takes determination to get there. In fact, I believe we basically already pretty much know what to do with most problems, so it's not a matter of more information--it's a matter of determination. Our resident Life Coach and Synergy Specialist, Charly Emery speaks to this in her new article (link below).
On a lighter note, I ran across a very unique cleaning product that comes directly off a tree. They're called "soap nuts"-- used in India and Indonesia for cleaning purposes for thousands of years. The fruit of this particular tree contains soap on the outside of its husk. So, no chemicals, no fragrance--only pure plant soap. Check it out below.
Also, we've acquired a separate domain name for our popular E-3 Energy Cream: www.pain-lotion.com. There is much more information on how to use the lotion, and all the success stories we've collected over the years. If you haven't tried it yet, we're offering a $10 Gift Certificate until next Friday, so now's the time!
Until next week...

The soap that grows on trees!
Ever wonder how people in the primitive rural areas of India have been able to keep their clothes and homes clean without manufacturing soap? They harvested it from trees, and have been doing it for thousands of years. That right, it's called the Chinese Soapberry Tree, and its nutlike fruit has a hull that has soap on the outside. It's saponified, pure plant soap. All these people do is throw it in the water where they are washing their clothes, and, wha-la! the dirt, grim and body oils fall off.
Obviously, since all that is happening is the fruit is picked from the tree and thrown in with the laundry, there is zero manufacturing. Soaps and especially detergents are notorious for their environmental impact, what with all the manufacturing and chemical-izing surrounding it.
One company has been enterprising enough to bring these soap nuts to America. They come in a box with a cotton bag to put the soap nuts in. You toss the bag with the nuts into the washing machine, and that's it (when washing sheets and towels, check the load often to make sure the bag is not twisted up in the fabrics--it needs to be able to move freely).
You can also make liquid soap from the soap nuts by cooking them in water on low heat overnight, straining the liquid through a cheesecloth, and pouring it into your bottle or spray dispenser.
There is no fragrance, no toxic residue or byproducts, the soap is completely biodegradable and it really works to clean thoroughly! You pay about 50 cents per wash load. Check it out...

The Intellectual and Emotional Connection to Transformation
Our resident Life Coach and Synergy Specialist, Charly Emery, points out how the common disconnect between the emotional response to achieving success, and the intellectual workings of logistics and details can undermine our morale on the way to our goal. Charly says, "Perseverance keeps you completely focused when there is less than 10 seconds to make the basket that will win the game. It is also the force which protects you from the doubts that could slow you down, or prevent you from realizing your goal..." >>>> MORE

- Too many vitamins can make you sick...
There's more worrisome news about vitamins: Taking too many may increase men's risk of dying from prostate cancer. The study, being published Wednesday, doesn't settle the issue. But it is the biggest yet to suggest high-dose multivitamins may harm the prostate, and the latest chapter in the confusing quest to tell whether taking various vitamins really helps a variety of conditions or is a waste of money, or worse...
- Pesticide spraying near schools...
On Grandparents Day, Domitila Lemus accompanied her 8-year-old granddaughter to school. As the girls lined up behind Sunnyside Union Elementary, a foul mist drifted onto the playground from the adjacent orange groves, witnesses say. Lemus started coughing, and two children collapsed in spasms, vomiting on the blacktop. There are no federal laws specifically against spraying near schools...
- Diabetes way up in young girls...
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -- The number of adolescent girls taking drugs for Type 2 diabetes nearly tripled in just five years, while use of chronic medicines for psychotic behavior and insomnia roughly doubled among boys and girls aged 10 to 19, a study shows. Meanwhile, adolescents' use of drugs for depression and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, leveled off or dropped in the last two years, after widespread new warnings about safety concerns...

- Michael Moore's "Sicko" exposé almost confiscated...
Michael Moore: "This preemptive action taken by the Bush administration on the eve of the 'Sicko' premiere in Cannes led our attorneys to fear for the safety of our film, noting that Secretary Paulson may try to claim that the content of the movie was obtained through a violation of the trade embargo that our country has against Cuba and the travel laws that prohibit average citizens of our free country from traveling to Cuba. (The law does not prohibit anyone from exercising their first amendment right of a free press and documentaries are protected works of journalism.)"...
