Radical Decentralization of Power

The human DNA contains a very deep and a very potent implant. It is a bipolar implant. At one end it commands: "I am a slave. I serve someone because I am not worthy to assume power." At the other end it says: "I am in power. Others serve me because I have been chosen, and they are unworthy to wield this power."

As a result of this basic implant, abuse in one form or another has run rampant across human civilization. Money was created to help run the implant. Governments were set up to run the implant. Corporations were set up--all under the command of the bipolar implant. The slaves give their personal power to the masters and the masters abuse them with that power. The abuse of the slaves by the master is a reflection of the master's own low self-worth, which is then reinforced when the slaves suffer and do not rebel. Then, fear of the slave rebellion motivates military action. The masters have a big stick to beat the slaves down with, further inforcing the master's low self-worth, increasing the fear of slave rebellion, thus increasing the need for more weaponry and more abuse. War becomes big business.

But, one could argue, cooperative effort is necessary to provide for the needs of the community. Yes, cooperative effort is necessary, but the giving over of personal power to a governing systems ends up leading to multi-billion dollar multi-national military industrial complexes. In a cooperative effort for the sake of the community, everyone wields their own personal power for the good of the community, with the reward of endorphins from having shared, and the further endorphin hit from contribution to improvement of one's survival. Cooperative effort inside a community is done on a non-heirarchical task basis. Those with skills needed to complete the task, take over those areas. "Leadership" is inherent in the task itself: some things go first, other things last. No one is "more important" than the other. The entire process is shared as a co-creative effort by all. The notion of permanent "importance" is an egocentric, ultimately militaristic one. The task determines importances, not those executing the task. Over-identification with one's own part of the task leads to notions of self-importance, and ultimately to war and suffering.

In a study by Stanford University reported in Omni, thousands of computer-generated robots were given a single command to carry out. The scenario was an ant colony. Each "ant" was to pick up a piece of wood and place it in a pile. That was the only task to be completed by each ant. After each ant was set into motion, lo and behold after a short time, a pile was formed. No one was in charge. No one ant was directing the pile to be created. The conclusions reached cast serious doubts on the value of leadership and government in human societies. As long as everyone shares the same vision of the task, it gets done by the task automatically inferring necessities which are then carried out by those with the complementary skills. This is the essence of the development of the Internet. An overriding task of global interconnectivity was mandated in the mass mind, the potential of which was inferred by the existing telecommunication and computer technologies, coupled with the deep need to reconnect after long-term social alienation--caused in fact by the divide-and-conquer militaristic mentality of corporate masters abusing their slaves.

In this way, a radical decentralization of power around the world is called for to de-activate the master-slave DNA implant. Small, localized village communities share resources, identify contra-survival elements and work together to transform their lives into joyful experiences. Communication lines link all communities together to share information about what works and what doesn't. A renaissance of social development occurs, spirituality is revived, respect for the environment and communion with the earth as a fellow being leads to galactic citizenship.

You can bet that the advanced civilizations of the galaxy are watching this human experiment, waiting for us to break out of the implant and come join them in brotherhood.
